I think every birthday party is a test of the parent's creativity! We had attended parties at indoor playground, sentosa cove (bubble foam party), build a bear and last weekend it was an interesting rock climbing party!

Rock climbing is a totally new thing to Gabriel and as usual he will hesitate to try out new stuffs. Initially had some resistance to put on the harness but when he sees his friend going through the motion excitedly he decided to go for it.

In the end, he performed out of my expectation reaching the top on his third try.

Here's some photos! Don't forget to check out the video at the end :)

Let's practice and get the feel first

Before we start on the real thing, let's have some fun.

Check out all the treats from the Pinata. Every kid had a bag full of goodies!

Next we proceed to the high walls!

And the kids are given a demo with detailed instructions

Kids were divided into groups and as always the 4 good friends are together. The boys are displaying their gentleman manners by letting the girl go first.

Here's the 3 musketeers!

So now it's my turn....better not move and let the guide do all the adjustment

So here I go!

This is the video of Gabriel reaching the top on his third attempt
