Week 9 (25 Feb - 3 Mar 2013)

This week passed by really fast and I was looking forward to a short week as I took leave on Friday for Gabriel's performance.

Highlights of the week:
Tuesday was a rainy day and Gabriel vomited in school. Brought him to the doctor and we queued for 1.5hrs. Serious virus going around :(
When he slept I had some time to enjoy the night view from our bedroom.

On Wednesday, I head down to Scraplicious to pick up some yummy stuffs. These are the new collections from CHA 2013. Can't get enough of the cute robot and all the Chevron paper designs. Weekend will be scraptastic!!! Is there even such a word...LOL

Finally Friday has arrived. Gabriel was feeling so excited about his performance (Reader's Theatre) that he woke up at 6am. Altogether there were 3 classes performing. For Gabriel's class, they read a short story on The Frog Prince and Gabriel played the role of Narrator 3.
The performance ended with all 3 classes singing to the song Outdoor by Jason Mraz. Not familiar with the song?? Check out the video link below.

On Saturday, we tried out a new place for breakfast - Cafe Melba @ Goodman Arts Centre. Food was average but it was quiet and serene which is good for a weekend morning where you just want to be away from everything. The cutlery holder and pink flowers were my favourite. You just feel good to look at this beautiful layout on the table.

In the evening, when I was scrapping, Gabriel was also in a artsy mood. He made a fiery crab out of paper plate, my scrap paper and red paint.

Today, we went to watch Jack and the Giant Slayer. Here in the picture, I have Gabriel looking smart in his new shirt from H&M (a present from Grand-aunt) all ready for the show. The movie was good. Do go catch it if you have not done so.

That's all for our weekend. Thanks for popping  by.

PS: Check out the next post on my scrap work.
