Made these 2 sided bookmarks just in time for Christmas.
Lots of distress Inks, Stamps, distress embossing powder and UTEE (Ultra Embossing Embossing Enamel), perfect pearl powder used....not forgetting crackle paint!

How do you get this effect from a Tim Holtz stamp? Check out the steps below:
1.  Tap Versamark dazzle ink pad on the stamp. Ensure all areas are well covered by the ink.
2. Press the well-inked stamp on the paper/tag
3. Place the paper/tag on a scrap piece of paper.
3. Pour Distress Embossing powder on the stamped area.
4. Tap off excess powder.
5. Pour all access powder back into the jar/bottle. No wastage!
6. Use a heat tool to melt the powder
7. Done! For a thicker layer, justpour another layer of powder while the letters are still hot and repeat steps 4-6.

Ranger Rock Candy crackle paint used here. A thin layer is applied onto the stamp image to create a bumpy look. For more obvious crackled effect, apply a thicker layer.
Note: Make sure the stamped image is dry before applying crackle paint and remember to clean your crackle paint brush before putting it back into the bottle.

I love these cute jelly letters. UTEE in clear was used to create them. Follow the steps and try it today!
1.  Tap embossing pigment ink pad on the stamp. Ensure all areas are well covered by the ink.
2. Press the stamp on the paper/tag
3. Place the paper/tag on a scrap piece of paper.
3. Pour UTEE on the stamped area.
4. Tap off excess powder.
5. Pour all access powder back into the jar/bottle
6. Use a heat tool to melt the powder
7. Done. For a thicker layer, pour another layer of powder while the letters are still hot and repeat steps steps 4-6.

Perfect pearl powder is used here to give some sweet "Bling" to the wordings on the tag. Remember to mist it a little to set the pearl powder in.

Altered this Maya Road Chipboard.
1. Sprayed on with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
2. Ensure spray on glimmer mist is totally dry, then ink the chipboard on distress embossing ink pad.
3. Place the paper/tag on a scrap piece of paper.
3. Pour UTEE on the stamped area.
4. Tap off excess powder.
5. Pour all access powder back into the jar/bottle
6. Use a heat tool to melt the powder
7. In order to create the crack glass effect, 3 layers of UTEE  is required to give it a good thickness. When the 3rd layer is dried and cool down, just bend the chipboad and the UTEE will crack.

You can use a lighter distress color ink to create a background just like the butterflies here.

Tsukineko Chalk Ink are used on this tag to create a different washed out look.

Ranger distress embossing powder is used on the chandelier and pearl powder is dusted on different areas of the tag to give some shimmer.
